Rule one: red meat only. Rule two: red wine only. Rule three: wine served exclusively in MAGNUMS or larger.

Good, rustic South African inspired food, blending seasonal ingredients from sustainable suppliers with a nose-to-tail cooking approach dominates our menus. Taking inspiration from the country’s rich and diverse history, dishes embrace bold flavours and rare breed meats that will transport you to the Rainbow Nation with every bite. Our restaurant's name, which loosely translates to 'Long live Bacchus,' pays homage to the god of wine, setting the stage for a culinary journey that celebrates both hearty indulgence and refined taste.

Each month we invite you to surrender to your carnivorous desires and relish an opulent array of red wine and red meat.  Just imagine tucking into a perfect blend of flavours where five delicious dishes complement five carefully curated red wines, resulting in a memorable feast that will just linger on your taste buds.

From South African-style cured meats like Biltong and Droewors to the legendary Cote de Boeuf - our 28-day-dry-aged Surrey Hills steak takes centre stage. Served for sharing, this masterpiece arrives alongside triple-cooked chips and an array of mouth-watering sauces. 

When it comes to wine, our expertise lies in South African classics. In fact, our SA wine selection stands as one of London's most extensive. Get ready to indulge in robust, full-bodied reds that perfectly enhance the meat. We’re talking stand-out producers like Meerlust – champions of the Bordeaux Blend in South Africa, Boekenhoutskloof – best known for creating the legendary Chocolate Block, Kanonkop Wine Estate, and best-selling Bartinney.
