We’re delighted to bring a taste of Meerlust to London with an exclusive multi-course wine pairing dinner | £130pp

Join us for an exlcusive evening at Vivat Bacchus Farringdon with Meerlust Estate's winemaker, Wim Truter, as we bring a taste of South Africa to London. Enjoy a multi-course wine pairing dinner featuring five award-winning wines, including the iconic Rubicon, paired with a gourmet menu created by our executive chef. Wim Truter will be on hand to guide you through the exceptional selection of wines, personally sharing the rich heritage and innovative spirit behind each bottle.

The event is being hosted in collaboration with Winoship, allowing you to order any of the wines featured during the evening.

About the winery

Steeped in history since 1756, Meerlust Estate is renowned for its world-class wines. Guided by 8th generation custodian Hannes Myburgh and situated near False Bay, 15km from Stellenbosch, the estate benefits from oceanic influences that enhance grape quality. A pioneer of Bordeaux varietals in South Africa, Meerlust introduced the iconic Rubicon blend in 1980, marking a new era in South Africa winemaking. Today, this legacy is upheld by Wim Truter, the third Cellar Master in nearly 50 years, who brings a strong background in Chemistry, Oenology, and Viticulture, along with international experience. His dedication to quality and terroir-driven winemaking ensures each Meerlust wine reflects the estate's exceptional character.
